On the left is the Palomar Slim Lipo, and on the right is the Cynosure Smart Lipo MPX. The video is running in real time and clearly shows how the Slim Lipo at 924nm is much more absorbed in fat than the blended wavelengths 1064/1320 that the Smart Lipo uses. To be completely equal in this comparison video, the Slim Lipo is using a 600 micron fiber, which is the actual size that the Smart Lipo uses. The Slim Lipo uses a larger more effective 1500 micron fiber during actual procedures. Both are set in a vat of beef fat. Please note how the Slim Lipo is a continuous wave energy delivery system as apposed to the Smart Lipo using a pulsed system to try and peck away at the fat.
